Our program is structured to help the students achieve their full potential at each step of development. We teach ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz and hip hop. Our goal is to instill a love of the performing arts while giving our students a quality technical foundation. OUr concern is not only for the dancer but also for the personal growth of the individual who dances. Intelligent dance training also teaches and reinforces life skills. There is much to learn through dance. At A Step in Time, our students are more important than the trophies in the studio.
Our faculty consists entirely of adult professionals. Our progressive syllabus offers a consistency in training where the students not only learn dances, but learn how to dance. We are very fortunate and very proud to have this faculty. They have all been connected to the studio prior to being employed as teachers. They understand our teaching system and methods as well as our values. Each brings their own understanding of what we value at A Step in Time. The result is a diverse, yet focused group with first hand knowledge of our vision for a quality studio.
