Aikido, a martial art grounded in a non-violent philosophy, also increases body awareness, energy flow, and ease of movement. There are no contests in Aikido; one trains with a partner, not an opponent. Confronting oneself, connecting with a partner, it is no surprise many people consider aikido a spiritual as well as a martial practice.
The teaching staff at City Aikido is the most experienced in the Bay Area. We offer classes 7 days a week, with a schedule that includes morning, noon, and evening sessions. Visitors are encouraged to come in and watch a class, and ask questions of any instructors or students. |
