Dance helps to develop a child's artistic abilities and ultimately increases learning potential. Our students will continue to see a life long benefit from the skills they acquire through our instruction. These skills cross over to all aspects of life, enabling the development of patience, concentration, memory retention, coordination, strength, flexibility, discipline, motivation, creativity, social interaction skills, and self esteem.
We begin instructing children at the age of 2 with an introduction to music and the basic movements of dance. As the abilities of our students increase, the next step, a combination of ballet, tap, and gymnastics, is introduced. As classes advance, they are kept interesting and fun while repeating learned skills. Around the age of 7, our students generally advance to more disciplined forms of dance, including concentrated instruction in ballet, tap, gymnastics, and jazz. The material that we teach is kept in sync with the physical, mental, and performance ability of our students. |
