Building on the principle that all children are instinctive creators and builders, Architots provides a creative outlet where they are only limited by their own imaginations. Our mission is twofold: to provide a space that is completely interactive and inspiring, and to foster a design driven, creative approach in young minds. Architots is a concept innovated by Michael J. Macaluso; Founder and Principal of M.J. Macaluso and Associates Architects, an award winning New York City design firm. By providing only a basic structure and framework, Architots leaves all of the creative decisions where they belong... in the hands of the children designers. Through our unique drawing, building, and model-making programs not only will they learn basic techniques, but more importantly gain an appreciation and basic understanding of their built surroundings; a priceless lesson at any age.

I found out about Architots from some other moms in the park. This place is awesome. The instructor is fantastic with the kids - she takes the time to get to know your kids and makes sure we parents can have a great time with our little ones and each other. Also - there are special events that are held in early evenings so dads or working parents can attend. I've been to a lot of groups, but this is by far the best to be found - check it out and have a great time.
