This museum is chock full of hands-on exhibits. Walk through Dinosaur World, with robotic animation of four life-size creatures. The Ocean Discovery Center lets kids experience the underwater environment of a submarine and hear whale sounds. Walk through the Fire Station, Art Center, and learn about how electricity works. The museum is also home to tons of special events, such as the Festivals of Friendship, which teach kids about the world's cultures, to the Dia de Los Muertos exhibit—an homage to life and death. Birthday parties are hands-on here, also, with craft projects and science experiments, depending on the theme. |
