This is a great place for anyone to visit that's enamored by flying objects. Permanent exhibits include The Science of Flight, President Eisenhower's Summer White House at Lowry AFB, World War I Uniforms, and Lowry AFB History. The museum also hosts Open Cockpit days, when kids are invited to visit a few cockpits and chat with real pilots, and model airplane making. See website for dates. |
